Volunteers are at the heart of the Myerstown Community Library
Duties Include:
- Shelve books by alphabetical order and the Dewey Decimal System.
- Read shelves to ensure media is in its proper location.
- Assist in library programs.
- Use the copier.
- Assist patrons with questions or defer them to the library staff on duty.
- Perform other duties as instructed.
- Other unique opportunities available!
How To Get Started:
- Adults over the age of eighteen must obtain required clearances: PA Child Abuse History & PA State Police History.
- Minors under the age of eighteen must obtain parental consent.
- Complete the volunteer application.
- Complete volunteer orientation & training session.
